“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” Romans 12:1
Often times, we think of worship as singing songs on Sunday morning in church or jamming to K-LOVE radio station during our commute. However, Paul is explicit in Romans that worship is not limited to music; instead, it entails “presenting of our bodies as living sacrifices.” John Piper helps us understand this concept by stating, “Let every act of your living body show that Christ is more precious to you than anything else.”
If worship is the act of yielding our lives to God, then all of life is worship.
